Medication Refills
What is a refill?
A refill means you can go back to your pharmacy for more medication when you only have a little bit left. When your nurse practitioner or doctor prescribes a medication, they can also request refills. Always check the label on the medication to see if you have refills (and how many refills you have left).
How do you know if you have refills?

Look at your medication label to see how many refills you have.

If you are unsure, ask the pharmacist if you have refills of this medication.

What do you do if you have no more refills?
If you have no more refills, there are several ways to get your medication. If you let our care team know, we can request more refills from your pharmacy. Contact us for refills at least a week before you run out of medication. Here are some ways:
