This website offers counseling, resource navigation, support groups, education and more.

 

This is the patient information website of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). It has information approved by cancer experts.  The latest cancer information can help patients and families make informed health care decisions.

 

NCI is the nation’s trusted source for cancer information. NCI covers causes, risk factors and symptoms.  They also explain how cancer is diagnosed, treatment options and information on research trials.

 

This website offers education and support services for patients and caregivers.

 

Support Groups and Support Services

  • NYU Langone Lung Cancer Support Group:  A virtual meeting hosted by the Perlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island Social Worker meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.  For more information, call 516-663-1017. We also offer another virtual meeting twice a month by WebEx (a video conferencing platform). For more information call 646-477-4516.

 

 

Find information about online support groups, or submit a question to their Lung Helpline.  Connect with a clinical expert by phone, email or live chat. They can answer questions related to lung health or quitting smoking.
